A session is one visitor's page requests with no gap longer than 30 minutes. Duration is last request minus first – there is no signal for time spent on the final page, so a single-page session shows “–” rather than 0s. Visitors are identified by a salted hash of address and user-agent; the underlying IP is never stored and the hash cannot be reversed to one. A provider badge means the session egressed from that provider's published datacenter ranges – hosted automation or a VPN/relay exit rather than a home connection, with the location shown being the data center's. It is a caveat, not a verdict: real people browse through relays too.
Every session is listed here, including the ones held out of the visit count on the dashboard. An automated badge means a behavioral signal fired – the same address was probing for paths this site has never served while it browsed, or it loaded pages faster than a person can. A session with only a provider badge behaved normally and is held out of the headline but not called a bot, because egress alone cannot tell a scraper from someone on a VPN.
